Iris Siegfried is a musician and moderator. For more than 22 years she has performed with her quartet Salut Salon as a violinist and singer on the major stages of national and international concert halls, from the Elbphilharmonie to Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Bombay. In November 2022, Iris Siegfried said goodbye to the award-winning quartet. Of course musically:
Salut -Goodbye. Thank you for so many years of good memories.”
Iris Siegfried has been a professor at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg since 2018, bearer of the Bundesverdienstkreuz (Federal Cross of Merit) and Alster-Ehrenschleusenwärterin (Alster lock keeper of honor). She is on the board of directors of the music education project “The Young ClassX” initiated by Salut Salon and the Otto Group.
And last, not least: She loves humor.
